Critical updates for Adobe

Critical and important vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe products. Updates are available.

Critical is Adobe’s highest vulnerability rating.

The critical vulnerabilities affect the following products:

Important vulnerabilities in ColdFusion, and LiveCycle Data Services, LiveCycle ES, and BlazeDS are also addressed. More information in Adobe security bulletins 11-14 and 11-15, respectively.

Critical Microsoft Updates June 2011

In its security bulletin summary for June 2011 Microsoft has published nine updates for critical and seven updates for important vulnerabilities in its operating systems and applications.

Critical is Microsoft’s highest vulnerability rating.

The critical updates address the following issues:

  • One privately reported vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) Automation.
  • One privately reported vulnerability in Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft Silverlight.
  • One privately reported vulnerability in the Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010 Client (formerly named the Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway Firewall Client).
  • One privately reported vulnerability in Microsoft Windows Kernel-mode drivers.
  • Two privately reported vulnerabilities in the Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS).
  • One privately reported vulnerability in Microsoft Windows SMB Client.
  • One publicly disclosed vulnerability in Microsoft .NET Framework.
  • Eleven privately reported vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer.
  • One privately reported vulnerability in the Microsoft implementation of Vector Markup Language (VML).

Updates that fixes the vulnerabilities are available from Windows automatic update mechanism.
To manually check for updates Click the Start button, click All Programs and then click Windows Update.
